The Toscana Igt “Case Basse” is comparable to a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, even though it does not belong to the denomination by choice.
Gianfranco Soldera’s wine masterpiece, it ages in large Slavonian oak barrels in order to maximize the complexity and elegance of the pure Sangiovese from which it is produced.
Bright garnet is an extraordinarily large wine, powder, cinnamon, balsamic and ferrous notes, together with the inevitable ripe fruit.
Very fresh on the palate, it is very long and undoubtedly elegant. Superlative tannin for its finesse.
